SIP and WYNG Foundation Commit HKD 2 Million to Support Youth Well-being and Recovery in Tai Po |
We are proud to share that SIP and WYNG Foundation have jointly committed HKD 2 million to support youth well-being and community recovery in Tai Po through the launch of the "Tai Po Unity & Well-being Project", in partnership with Baptist Charis Social Service.
We are deeply grateful to Central Cove Group, the family office of Jean Salata, whose generous funding support through SIP made this initiative possible — for coming together to support families and youth during this important recovery journey.
The initiative responds to the ongoing recovery needs following the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire, with a focus on supporting young people and families through emotional support, mental health programs, community resilience activities, and dedicated case management.
This project reflects a shared belief that recovery is not only about rebuilding physical spaces, but also restoring stability, connection, and hope within the community.

Insight on Why Strong Governance Matters in Impact Investing |
|
|
|
SIP Executive Director Lillian Li recently authored a feature article for Metro Finance Plus (新城理財+), published under the CFA Control Room Alumni Network (CFA聯盟) series by CFA Society Hong Kong.
In the article, Lillian draws on her professional experience to examine what it truly takes for impact investing projects to go the distance , arguing that passion alone is not enough, and that the three pillars of passion, governance, and financial expertise must work in balance. She candidly explores the tensions between a founder's entrepreneurial spirit and the demands of sound institutional governance, and makes a compelling case for building proper structures, such as shareholders' agreements, from the very start. We hope this piece sparks meaningful reflection for both investors and social entrepreneurs on the journey toward sustainable impact.

Clean Air Network Reaches IAQ Milestone: Mapping 200+ Locations Across Hong Kong |
Clean Air Network (CAN) has reached an important milestone in its Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Project, engaging over 200 volunteers to monitor air quality across libraries, offices, restaurants, gyms, schools, and clinics. With data collected from more than 200 locations - partly for studies and partly for awareness.
On the public awareness side, the newly launched IAQ Map empowers the public to better understand the air they breathe every day. Because when people can see the data, they begin to ask: Is my workspace safe? Could poor air quality be affecting my health? This shift from awareness to action is at the heart of CAN’s mission.
Together, through your donations and engagement, we can achieve our goal of "Clean Air for All."
