Welcoming The Nesbitt Centre to the SIP Family |
We’re thrilled to welcome The Nesbitt Centre (TNC) to the SIP family, marking our HKD 1 million commitment to advance inclusion and vocational opportunities for adults with learning differences in Hong Kong. Founded in 1993, TNC empowers English-speaking adults with special learning needs through its unique “skills-to-training-to-jobs” model and a network of social enterprises, including The Nest cafés and Museum Café 8. Following a rigorous due diligence process supported by our pro bono partners—Johnson Stokes & Master, Deloitte, Egon Zehnder, and Pacific Risk Advisors—and with Milbank’s contribution in drafting the legal agreement for this deal, SIP looks forward to supporting TNC in scaling its operations and deepening its community impact.
To celebrate this new partnership, we gathered our pro bono partners for a lunch at Museum Café 8, one of TNC’s social enterprises, to enjoy good food and great company in support of inclusion.

Congratulations to the Cancer Support Society (CSS) on the grand opening of the Smile Again Dental Centre! The SIP team was delighted to join the opening ceremony, where our Chair, Josephine Price, delivered a short speech to thank the CSS team and emphasize the importance of collaboration in driving social impact. This milestone exemplifies how funders and partners can unite their expertise and resources to address real community needs, offering specialized dental care for cancer patients, people with disabilities, and students with special education needs. SIP is proud to stand alongside CSS beyond the initial investment, supporting its journey toward sustainable growth and long-term impact. Here’s to the CSS team for their vision and dedication, and to more collaborations that create lasting change in Hong Kong.

MilMill Brings Together Green Industry Partners to Celebrate MilMill 2.0 |
MilMill recently hosted an event at their pulping plant, bringing together friends and partners from the green industry to celebrate the launch of MilMill 2.0. During the event, the team introduced MilCycle, a closed-loop recycling model where MilMill collects used paper hand towels from offices and malls, transforming them into recycled paper products such as hand towels and A4 paper. Guests were also able to visit the pulping line to see how materials like metal and plastic are separated from collected paper cartons; along with the company’s new linen pulping process. This newly adopted technology, which converts textile fibres into usable paper products, further advances circularity and sustainability.
